The City of Florissant operates 2 recreation centers- JFK and James J. Representation in Government

Florissant Performing Arts Center

Florissant Performing Arts Center is home to many productions for both residents and visitors to enjoy. It is also home to several theatre based companies like The Hawthorne Players and The Alpha Players of Florissant. Public Works Department

The Public Works Department is a highly diverse department composed of four (4) separate divisions: Building, Engineering, Health & Street. These various divisions are responsible for the health and safety of our residents by providing various inspections on existing and new construction, maintaining the structural safety of our bridges, and maintaining all City-owned streets, just to name a few.  They also provide building permits and occupancy permits for residents and business owners.  Click here for more.
