Renew Business License
Business License Renewals cannot be entered until after January 1, 2025. Submissions are due by January 31, 2025. Any businesses that have not completed their submission by January 31, 2025 will be subject to late fees, including any applications that have not submitted all required or requested documentation on time. Before you begin...
Applicants will need to provide the necessary documentation for the business in order to submit. Prepare by gathering the necessary documentation for the business before beginning. These documents include but are not limited to Registration Documents filed with the Secretary of State ( SoS ), Fictitious Name Registration with SoS, Proof of Gross Receipts from January 1st to December 31st of the previous year, and Certificate of No Tax Due.
What to expect...
During this renewal cycle, you will review the information on file for necessary changes or updates. Applicants will be able to submit an incomplete application without all documents uploaded, but the applicant will have to return to upload their documents to complete the submission. This will help with processing and assistance from the City during the renewal cycle. Applicants will be able to *save progress and return to the complete their application at any time.
Only submissions with all documents uploaded will be considered complete.
To return to complete the renewal application enter the BUSINESS NAME and RENEWAL CODE on the Renewal Site. Need assistance with your renewal? Contact us at businesslicense@florissantmo.com. Haven't received postcard or email renewal notice...
If you have not received your Business License Renewal Notice by January 1st, please contact businesslicense@florissantmo.com and request your renewal code. Email must include Applicant’s Name, Business Name and Florissant Address.
Received a 2026 email renewal notice...
If you received a 2026 Business License Renewal Notice on 3/9/2025 the Business listed in your email received a Business License in 2025. The City of Florissant will continue to send out postcards for renewals but we will also be sending out email reminders in December.
