MoDOT opens new eastbound I-270 exit to New Florissant Road Friday, October 21

Drivers who have detoured around the closed eastbound I-270 exit ramp to New Florissant Road for the past six weeks, can expect some good news later this week. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will open a new eastbound I-270 exit ramp to New Florissant Road by evening rush hour on Friday, October 21.

The old ramp was closed and removed in September 2022 to allow crews to realign Pershall Road and build a new eastbound exit ramp near New Florissant Road. With the new alignment, eastbound I-270 traffic now exits onto Pershall Road and Pershall Road intersects with New Florissant Road.

The closure and construction work are part of the $278 million I-270 North Project infrastructure upgrades.
