Every year the City of Florissant and the Florissant Police Department take part in National Night Out which takes place in most of the country in August and a few of the Western states it is observed in October. 

This year we have decided to observe the National Night Out on Tuesday October 4th.  We have made this change with the hope that we can get more neighborhoods involved since it will not be so hot and uncomfortable for our residents. 

Please join us in celebrating National Night Out this year on October 4th  this year instead of August 2nd.   NOTE—The upcoming edition of the Florissant Focus has an article that says we will be observing this event on August 2nd which is incorrect.  If you have any questions please contact Officer Craig DeHart at 314-831-7000.
