Koch park is one of the larger parks in Florissant located at Charbonier and Howdershell Roads. It is a 40 acre park which has two major attractions, the newly updated John F. Kennedy Community Center with event center and senior center, and a splash pad with an aquatic center. The amenities of the park are two handball courts, one lighted multipurpose court, playgrounds, and sand volleyball court. There are two pavilions with barbecue pits and electricity for picnics and playgrounds. Kennedy Memorial Field is a fenced-in athletic area for rent to organizations for various functions. Koch Park is also the headquarters for Park Maintenance, which is located at 2300 Charbonier. For more information or rentals call 314-839-7670.
