Information listed below pertains to rentals at the James J. Eagan Center and the JFK Community Center. If further information is needed please call the parks and recreation office Monday-Friday        8:00AM-5:00PM or Saturdays 8:00AM-12:00PM at 314-839-7670 for JJE Center rental information or Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM for JFK rental information at 314-839-7675.

  • Applicants must be 21 or older.
  • Applicant must agree to abide by all ordinances, rules and regulations along with any staff directives.
  • No live music renters are required to notify staff at time of application that music will be played.
  • If renting the Arts & Crafts room at JJE and music will be played renter is required to rent the entire room. (Music can only be played in the B side of the room in the front right corner of the room.) All music must be kept at a reasonable level. Staff may ask to have the volume lowered or eliminate if deemed necessary.
  • Failure to adhere to the music policy could result in cancellation of the rental.
  • Lower level doors at JJE can be used for deliveries only. All guests must enter through the main entrance.
  • Bachelor, bachelorette and graduation parties are prohibited.
  • Birthday parties for ages 16-29 are prohibited.
  • Birthday parties for ages 13-15 are allowed only as a Party Package rental. Party Package rentals are held only at the JJE Center in the small meeting room. Pool Package includes 15 vouchers and an Ice Rink Package includes 30 vouchers. These packages are held during public sessions only and are only a portion of the rental time.
  • Both facilities are NON- SMOKING FACILITIES.
  • Alcohol may only be consumed by a person 21 or older. The renter is responsible that this policy is adhered. 
  • Meeting room reservations must be made at least 1 week in advance, subject to availability. Gymnasium and Nature Lodge rentals must be made at least 30 days in advance.
  • All fees must be paid at least 30 days prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the rental.
  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing 30 days prior to the event and will be subject to a $10 processing fee. Any cancellation made with less than 30 days will result in forfeiture of your rental fee.
  • Renters must check in with photo ID at front desk with the Park Ranger or Supervisor on Duty. Renter is required to be present for the duration of the rental time.
  • Details for the rental will only be discussed with the person listed on the rental contract.
  • Signs may not be posted outside or on the room.
  • Confetti or live candles are prohibited. Birthday candles on cakes are permitted.
  • Renters must check out at the front desk before leaving. All decorations, including tape must be removed and disposed of properly. Tables should be cleaned off. Empty and rinse out all coffee pots (please put all coffee grounds in trash only). Gather trash together and tie up bags and leave by the door. If extra bags or a mop is needed please check with the front desk staff.
  • The premises must be left in proper order. Thus the renter must check out with a front desk staff member to insure that clean-up has been completed in order for deposit to be refunded.
  • Please be considerate of other patrons using the facility.
  • Any damage to the facility will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Anything brought into the facility besides food and drinks will need to be approved in advance.
