The City of Florissant Police Department will be participating in the “Be a Florissant Life Saving Hero” campaign, encouraging all residents and non-residents to take two easy steps to become a hero on May 12th, 2007.

Step 1 is for all blood donors to give the gift of life. Donors can give any time between 8:30AM – 2:00PM. Your blood donation can help save up to 3 lives. To register, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.

Step 2 is to learn C.P.R. Timing is critical during life threatening emergencies. When every second counts, make sure you know what to do. This training is only a short 3 ½ hours (from 8:30AM – 1:00PM) and is being offered at the reduced rate of $10.00 (a $45.00 value). Call 314-516-2740 to register.
