Policy for closing the Outdoor Pools

As a matter of policy, our managers have the authority to close our facilities early due to rain or cool temperatures.   On days when the weather is not conducive to swimming, our managers have also been given the discretion to close the pools early if attendance is poor.   As a rule of thumb, if attendance drops below 30 patrons at Koch or Bangert our managers may announce that the pools will be closing in 30 minutes if additional attendance is not forthcoming.   These attendance figures do not automatically cause the pool to close in 30 minutes but rather give the manager an opportunity to do so based on various other factors:   i.e.: weather, time of day, etc.
