THE F.L.E.R.T. BUSES (Florissant Local Elderly Resident Transportation) are available free of charge to all Florissant Senior Residents, 60 years of age and older with a current Resident Picture I.D. BUSES OPERATE ONLY IN THE CITY LIMITS OF FLORISSANT except for 3 locations – DePaul Hospital, Christian Hospital Northeast and the Missouri Veterans Clinic at 10600 Lewis & Clark Blvd.

A HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE BUS with wheelchair accessibility is available to Florissant Residents. Anyone under the age of 60 must send a written request to the Mayor for his approval and a letter from their doctor stating their disability and their need for the use of the Florissant bus services. This request should state their name, address, phone number and current resident card number. A competent adult, who has legal guardianship, must accompany individuals under 18 years of age.
