Florissant Police Department Announces
New Resident Volunteer Section

The Florissant Police Department recognizes the need for community involvement, and initiated a new resident volunteer section. The volunteer group will be responsible for assisting the Police Department in many programs and assignments such as:
* Kansas City Life Baseball Card Program.
* Neighborhood Watch and National Night Out Organizational Planning.
* Assist with Police Department tours, office assistance and help with mailings.
* Assist with outside programs the Police Department has been involved with (Special Olympics, Cancer Society Relay for Life, Old Town Festival, Valley of Flowers, etc.)
The volunteers will also man the new Police Department community center located in Grandview Plaza. The volunteers will be available to answer any questions about the community of Florissant, and will have many handouts from all departments within the city.

If you have any questions or would like to join our Resident Volunteer Section, please call the Public Relations Officer Kevin Boschert at 830-6042
