Mayor Lowery is pleased to announce the City of Florissant with the help of Waste Management will be having one day in June for city residents only to drop off their bulk items at two designated locations. On Saturday, June, 9, 2007 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm city residents will be allowed to drop off bulk items at either St. Ferdinand Park near the Recycling Center or at the lower level at the James J. Members from the city’s Street, Park and Health Department will be at each location to help assist with any unloading. Proof of residency will be required. There will be no charge to the city residents.

Mayor Lowery adds, “We are very grateful to Waste Management for co-sponsoring this event. We want to continue to keep this city beautiful and with everyone’s help we will be able to do just that.”
