"MAYOR ROBERT G. LOWERY EXHAUSTS PATIENCE WITH MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION"
Today, Mayor Robert G. Lowery, Sr. explained explicitly that he is tired of waiting for Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to relieve the traffic problems on North Lindbergh. He is concerned about all of the intersections along North Highway 67 and North Lindbergh, but the intersections that he is most concerned with are Patterson Road, Lindsay Lane, Charbonier Road and Trotter Way.
The Mayor said that he has met with MoDOT at least five or six times and they concur that the problems exist and that they have promised to correct the situation. They have currently done nothing!
Mayor Lowery will be in personal contact with the Governor next week and ask for assistance from the Commission to get a plan for improving the traffic situation in the City of Florissant and the entire North St. Louis County area.
Mayor Lowery is asking the people to write their Senators and Representatives to support his position on the major traffic congestion in Florissant and North County. The time for talk is over - the time for action is now!
