Medal of Valor Awards
The prestigious Medal of Valor awards will be presented to 16 very deserving Police Officers from the St. Louis region, according to Mayor Robert G. Lowery, Sr., President of the Crusade Against Crime of America and the sponsor of this program. This is the 37 th annual awards luncheon to honor these recipients with this year's keynote speaker being the Honorable Jay Nixon Missouri State Attorney General and the Master of Ceremony being Mr. George Woods from 550 KTRS.
The luncheon will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 12:00 noon. Tickets are $35.00 per person with tables of 10 available. Call 636-537-6730 to make reservations.
This year's recipients are: Cpl. Kenneth J. Schulte, Troopers Brian J. Geier and Jason L. Decker from the Missouri State Highway Patrol- Troop C, Deputy John Paul and Deputy James Briggs from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Sgt. Michael Amerin, Officers Charles Bowles, Jessica Diamond, John Williams, and Rodney Woodall from the St. Louis County Police Department and Sgt. Edward Kuehner, Officers Matthew Greco, John McClanahan, Sean Mallon, Sean Wade and Ronald Hasty from the St. Louis City Police Department.
Mayor Lowery is asking for the community's support to show our appreciation to these brave men and women who risk their lives so that we are all protected and can live in a safe community.
